The food tour was a great way to see a bit of Athens and learn information about local life and local food. The food was amazing, fresh. The information presented was interesting and fun. Our tour guide, Valentini was simply fantastic! She was super knowledgeable, engaging and also friendly. It was definitely the absolute right way to kick off our trip to Athens. I want to stress that I am foodie lover and traveler of the world so not the easiest to be impressed. Looking forward to returning and exploring new parts of Athens under the guidance of Valentini!

We spent a wonderful off the beaten path tour in Athens’ back streets with Val. Great way to see the city and try delicious foods, as well as meet people from all over the world. We loved the pace of the tour; we loved every stop & every “bite”. Our highlights were, Souvlaki!!!!!, the mouthwatering and so fresh pies, olive oil tasting (so interesting especially since we have never done it before), honey tasting (who knew that there were so many and great varieties), ice cream and super delicious loukoumades! You will eat and drink plenty on this tour and it is great value so have a very light breakfast or not at all. We got so many good restaurant tips too. The experience was excellent and a lot of fun.

Hand down the best food tour I have taken so far. The tour included eight stops and enjoyed more than 10 different delicacies. A great way to find out about the hidden gems and wonderful flavors of beautiful Athens. Souvlaki, pies, olives, cheeses, lukumades, honey, koulouri and so much more all so fresh and so delicious. Above all, Alice was the perfect host. It turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. Thank you so much Alice & Athens Bites, you rock!

Valentina was the most perfect tour guide. Her passion and knowledge of Athens, food and life made the experience fantastic. We enjoyed a wide variety of tastings from deli shops, cafes and local markets. The tour was very well thought and we got a very good grasp of Greek food and Athenian life in a fun & engaging way.
